Weemalah Kayaking Tour

Escape the city on a private guided hiking and kayaking Sydney adventure. You’ll experience Royal National Park’s pristine waterways and magnificent bush tracks in true relaxation, seclusion and wonder, whilst exploring Sydney’s natural backyard.

Start your private tour on a short ferry ride across the Port Hacking from Cronulla to Bundeena then enjoy a fully-guided morning paddle exploring the bushland, mangroves and birdlife along South West Arm. Suitable for beginners, we’ll rest with our kayaks at a quiet morning tea location before discovering your secluded, rustic timber cottage nestled on the bend of the river. Spend the afternoon relaxing on the verandah listening to the sound of the Australian bush, as your hosts prepare all meals for your enjoyment.

Perfect for up to eight guests, your family and friends can choose from either two double rooms or bunks for the kids with a share bathroom – and relish a fully catered weekend miles away from any distractions.

Sunday morning is for relaxing on the verandah with a hot, cooked breakfast, giving you energy to explore the Park by foot. Benefit from the knowledge of an expert, local guide as you bushwalk to Audley, lunch by the riverside, then hike up the Honeymoon Track to Bungoona Lookout. Jump on a vintage tram for a short ride to finish your tour at Loftus.

This tour is easily accessible in less than one hour by road or public transport from Sydney’s city centre. The kayaking is graded as easy, suitable for beginners. You must be able to swim. The bushwalk is graded as easy-medium level as there is a short uphill section which some people may find challenging. We recommend moderate fitness and advise you to be prepared for all weather conditions.
